Headliner SIMON RAKOFF

Simon Rakoff has been a comedian since 1978. His act is well-crafted and thought-provoking, delivered with the smoothness of a veteran and the enthusiasm of a newcomer. He has made audiences laugh across Canada from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island. A top headliner, Simon’s quick mind and engaging personality also make him a popular MC at clubs, corporate events, and charity functions. A favourite at comedy festivals, Simon has performed at Montreal’s Just For Laughs, Halifax Ha!, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, among others.
 

On television, Simon has appeared on innumerable Canadian shows and had his special on CBC. He also provided humorous commentary on the local Toronto news. He is also a frequent voice on national radio, appearing on shows such as The Debaters, Laugh Out Loud, Madly Off In All Directions, Definitely Not The Opera, and As It Happens.
 

Simon is also a much sought-after writer and has added his talent to Canada’s sitcoms, sketch, and panel shows.

MC Jean Paul

Co-host of Breakfast Television, the Trinidadian-born, Brooklyn-raised, and currently Toronto-based comedian Jean Paul has always had an innate sense of humour. Maybe it’s because of his curious nature; perhaps it’s because of his light-hearted view of life. Whatever the reason, Jean knew at an early age that a comedy career was right for him. Since then, Jean has travelled extensively across Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean, South Africa and the U.K., performing at legendary venues such as the Apollo in New York, the Comedy Store in London, and Place des Arts in Montreal. No stranger to the festival circuit, Jean has performed at Just For Laughs, Halifax and Winnipeg comedy Festivals and, among other credits, has written for and toured with Russell Peters.

Featuring Ernie Vicente

Ernie Vicente is a Filipino stand-up comedian from Toronto, Ontario. With his laidback observations and surreal one-liners, he tours regularly across North America. He has also been a part of the JFL42 festival in Toronto and was featured on CBC’s LOL and Sirius XM.

Headliner EVAN CARTER

As a comedian, Evan Carter spends his time observing the world through the eyes of a father, son, and friend. His likes, dislikes and especially what confuses him provide an endless source of fascination and material. Evan Carter’s versatility, experience and professionalism have served him well. He moves easily from television, with his half-hour special on CBC and The Comedy Network. Plus his many radio appearances on CBC’s “The Debaters”, “Metro Morning”, “Fresh Air”, “LOL” and SIRIUS XM. Evan Carter is also a skilled facilitator. Designing and delivering corporate workshops on change, collaboration, and public speaking. Throughout Canada, the United States and the Middle East. His favourite venues, however, are live theatres and clubs. He has worked with many of them across North America, serving as a featured performer alongside such stars as Gladys Knight, The Temptations, Fats Domino, The Shirelles, Air Supply, Midnight Oil, and the late Marvin Gaye. In the summer of 2015, Evan performed in front of 44,000 people at the Opening Ceremonies of the Pan Am Games. Evan’s new album “You Speak So Well” is available on all streaming platforms.

MC Liam Kelly

Liam Kelly is a fast-talking romp through the crowd, taking what comes his way and spinning it into comedy. Over a 20-year career, Liam has done it all: sketch, improv, street theatre and corporate work and uses those experiences to create a memorable night of laughter on the spot. Featuring Jeremy Dobski

Jeremy Dobski is a seasoned stand-up comedian from Toronto with roots in Montreal. He has performed at Montreal Comic Con, Pouzza Fest, The No Refunds Festival, Beaver and Bacon Festival, Under Pressure Graffiti Festival, PUNX CAN'T LAUGH, and Puff Jam Family Gathering. He once co-hosted and produced the award-winning comedy podcast, Laughmatic. Jeremy has collaborated with many touring professional comics across North America, including Jason Alexander and Angelo Tsarouchas, among others. For two consecutive years, he was ranked among Montreal’s top ten comics in Cult MTL’s annual “Best of Montreal”. He currently hosts several shows at Toronto comedy clubs and enjoys a good pretzel.
